Browser-based instructors can use Reactions and Sounds to provide immediate feedback to your class. Instructors as well as learners can use the Reactions and Sounds to provide feedback.
Click the Add Reaction button (happy face icon) at the bottom of the screen to open the Reactions and Sounds.
Reactions
When to use: When you want to give non-verbal feedback to your class.
Instructors can also make reactions anonymous. When anonymous, you’ll see the reactions float to the top of the screen. Otherwise, you can see reactions on everyone’s video feed in the Class Gallery. When you use a reaction, learners can see the reaction in the upper right corner of your video feed.
To make reactions anonymous for users:
-
Open the More Actions (three dots) menu at the bottom of the screen.
-
Click Open Class Configuration.
-
Select Make reactions anonymous for learners.
-
Click Close.
Sounds
When to use: When you want to provide feedback or bring some comic relief to the class.
