- Lead instructor - A person listed on the class roster as an instructor who opens the classroom and starts the live session.
- Co-instructor - Any learner or TA elevated to the instructor role during the live session.
- TA - A person listed on the class roster as a TA or any learner elevated to the TA role during the live session.
