As an instructor, you can access Engageli either through the instructor application or via Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Brave. While both options are comparable, determining which provides the optimal Engageli experience is largely determined by your hardware and internet configuration.
If you are using the Engageli instructor application, Engageli recommends the following hardware configurations:
- Mac
- macOS Catalina version 10.15 or higher
- Quad-core or better CPU
- 8GB RAM or more
- 2015 or newer hardware
- PC / Windows 10
- Intel i5 or i7 (or equivalent) CPU
- 8GB RAM or more
- 2015 or newer hardware
It is also recommended that your internet connection be at least 2.5 Mbps, which you can test here.
While both the downloadable Instructor Application and Browser-Based Instruction provide a full suite of tools to teach an engaging and meaningful class, we recommend that you use a browser to teach on Engageli.
Browser-Based Instruction: Engageli’s browser capabilities enable you to teach a class directly through Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Brave.
- No download is required
- Optimized for older devices or lower internet bandwidth (requires fewer resources from computer and network)
- The simplified toolbar provides quick access to the most-used features
