Once Engageli’s Attendance Pass Back feature has been enabled, class attendance data will automatically sync to your Learning Management System at regular intervals set up by your administrator. If you want to manually sync attendance data on a per session basis, follow the steps below.

Before you can sync Attendance Pass Back data you must first set up attendance pass back. For more information, see this article.

Before you can sync individual class session attendance you must ensure that your class schedule has been assigned in the Scheduler.
How to access Classroom LMS configuration Settings

Visit the Admin portal (version 3.0.43+).

Click Classes (Class Management in v3.0) on the left side.

If you don’t see this menu, click the 3 lines (hamburger) in the top left of the window to expand.

Search for the class you’d like to adjust and select it.

Click LMS Attendance from the left menu bar.

If you do not see LMS Attendance under the classroom, it could be for one of the following reasons:

The classroom was manually created not using LTI. If this is the case, the class will not contain an alphanumeric code in parenthesis following the name like Engageli(9b04a). If this is the case you will need to use a different class that’s created via LTI.

If the class was previously created prior to the Attendance Pass back feature being created, it will not be eligible for Attendance Pass back. In this instance you may need to recreate the class in your LMS or use deep linking in your LMS to connect an LMS course to this existing Engageli class

Once you’ve clicked LMS Attendance, the Sessions tab will open on the right side of the window.

Click on a session from the list to select it and it will open in the Gradebook Sync tab.

To make any adjustments to your attendance calculations you can use the Configure Attendance window and click Compute Scores, however these settings should have already been set.

Click Sync Scores to initiate sync to your Learning Management System.
