Sharing a PowerPoint Presentation

If you are an instructor, learner, or guest speaker giving a presentation via PowerPoint in an Engageli classroom, follow the steps below to set up your PowerPoint presentation so you share only what you want and still have a view of the Class Gallery and classroom controls.

1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
2. In PowerPoint:
   1. Click the Slide Show tab.
   2. Click Set Up Slide Show.
   3. Select the 2nd option to change from the default to Browsed by an individual (window).
   4. Click Play from Start or Play from Current Slide to expand the presentation in its own window that you can resize and move around the screen. 
3. In Engageli
   
   1. If you're a Learner, click Share screen with class in the bottom menu.
   2. If you're an Instructor, click Present in the bottom menu and select Screen Share.
   3. Choose to share a Window to ensure that you share only your presentation window and not your entire screen.
   4. Select your presentation.
   5. Click the Share button.
4. Resize the presentation view to a size that is suitable for your needs. Note that everyone else in the class will see the screen shared at full size within Engageli.
5. You can also change your view in Engageli to see the Class Gallery and open the chat, notes, or Q&A.
