The live configuration section of the admin portal allows instructors to configure attendance calculations based on the following logic.
Attendance ratio - This is the threshold (percentage) of a session that a participant must attend to be considered present in the class. The default is 60%.
Session Ratio - This is a threshold (percentage) of class time that instructors must be logged into the class. The total course duration must be set via the Scheduler and this schedule is used to calculate occupancy. Once the instructor fills the class within the scheduled time and meets the threshold, the session will be considered valid. The default is 50%.
To personalize your class attendance configuration:
- Access the administrator portal.
- Click on Classes in the left menu.
- Select the Live Configuration tab.
- Enter an attendance rate and a session rate (attendance ratio).
- Enter an attendance rate and session ratio.
- Click on Save Changes
Note: The attendance rate and session rate will apply to all classes at the school. Individual instructors cannot change established attendance and session ratio percentages.
