This article focuses on the "Quick Polls" sub-tab within the "Action Tags Lab" tab. Below is a screenshot of the "Quick Polls" sub-tab:
The "Quick Polls" sub-tab enables you to create Action Tags for quickpolls that have been saved in your classroom, which you can activate during class to run a specific quickpoll. Currently, quickpolls cannot be created directly from the Action Tags Lab. In order to generate an Action Tag for a quickpoll, you must first create and save the quickpoll from the live classroom.
In this section, we'll review all the items that appear on the "Quick Polls" sub-tab:
- Select Class - Use this dropdown to choose the specific classroom that has the quickpoll for which you want to create the Action Tag.
- Select Saved Quick Poll - Use this dropdown menu to choose the specific quickpoll for which you want to create the Action Tag. The quickpolls in this list will be displayed as their corresponding questions.
- Show Tag Name - Check this box to include an optional label that will appear at the bottom of the Action Tag image.
- Name Your Tag - If you decide to add an optional label to the Action Tag image, this text box is where you can enter the label text.
- Use Old QR Code - Toggle this box to alternate between the old, black-and-white style QR code and the newer, blue-colored code.
- Copy - Click this button to copy the Action Tag image to your clipboard, which you can then paste into your presentation.
- Download - Click this button to download the Action Tag image as a file.
Note: It is technically possible to use an Action Tag to trigger a Quick Poll tied to a different classroom, but this is not advisable. Quick Poll Action Tags may contain data linked to the original classroom where they were created, and if that classroom is updated or deleted, the Action Tag could stop working.
