As a staff member, you can block the microphone of individual participants. When a participant's microphone is blocked, they will not be able to unmute their microphone.
To block a user's microphone:
- Look for the user's portrait from the Class Gallery. If the user is on the Podium, the same process can be applied via their portrait from the Podium, as well.
- Hover your mouse over their portrait, which should reveal a 3-dots menu button. Click this button to expand the menu.
- From the menu's options, select "Block Mic", as shown below.
To unblock the user's microphone, follow the same steps, but select "Unblock Mic" from the menu.
Note: User microphone blocks do not persist between class sessions. Once the class session is over, the user's microphone block is reset.
