The More Actions (three dots) menu at the bottom right of the screen has classroom management settings that can be adjusted during the session.
For instructors, the More Actions menu is divided into the following sections:
BandwidthAuto-adjust bandwidth By default, "Auto-adjust bandwidth" is turned on for all users. This means that if a slowed or poor network connection is detected, the user will be automatically placed in low bandwidth mode. In low bandwidth mode, learner videos are turned off for the instructor to prioritize audio and session stability. You will still see learner videos on the podium, and you can still use Engageli's presentation tools (Screen Share, Video Clips, Whiteboard, etc.) in low bandwidth mode. Apply low bandwidth for all learners If you notice that many learners are experiencing network issues with video and audio and might have trouble staying connected, you can select Apply low bandwidth for all learners. This will turn their cameras off and create a merged view of the class gallery. This setting will remove virtual backgrounds for learners who choose to manually turn their cameras back on. My RoleInstructor Role This is the default role for instructors. TA Role Instructors can select the TA role at any time during the class. There can be only 2 instructors at one time, so instructors assume the TA role if 2 other participants are elevated to the instructor role during a session. Actions
Note: If you have the Waiting Room enabled, you won't see the option for Staff only mode. Others
