How to Use AI to Create Engaging Quick Polls

Instructors can use AI to create quick polls based on shared files or captions of the class discussion. These polls are excellent for knowledge checks and assessing learner understanding. During online teaching, polls are especially important as they provide immediate feedback and help keep students engaged.

Instructions

1. In the Engageli classroom, click the Present button at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select File Share.
3. Upload a file to share or select a file from the library.
4. When you want to launch a poll, click the Present button again.
5. Select Quick Poll.
6. Click the AI Generated tab.
7. Use the drop-down menus to select if you want the poll based on the shared file or captions and the type of question (single choice or multiple choice).
8. Click Generate.
9. When the question is generated, you can edit the text if needed. 
10. Click Save for Later to save the polls for later class sessions.
11. Click Start Quick Poll to launch the poll.
