The Table Presets section allows Instructors and Administrators to manage the amount of tables, table details and table presets for your class.
Accessing Table Presets
- Go to the Admin Portal.
- Click Classes from the menu on the Left.
- Select your class from the list of Active Classes or use the search field to find your class.
- Click the class name.
- Click Presets.
How to add or remove tables
- Click the plus sign (+) icon on the right side of the screen to add tables.
- Click the plus sign (-) icon on the right side of the screen to remove tables.
Note: Tables are added or removed in multiples of 5.
How to rename tables
- Select the row for the table you want to rename.
- Double click on the table name.
- Enter the new name.
- Hit 'Return'.
How to create a seating preset
- Click the Presets tab.
- Click Create New Preset +.
- Enter a name, description, and the number of learners per table.
- Click Create.
- Drag and drop individual learners to the different tables to create the preset set arrangement.
- Switch to List View to see a list of the learners at each table. You can drop and drop the learners to different tables from the List View.
- Click "Assign Unassigned Learners" if you have any learners that have not yet been assigned.
How to upload a preset from a template
- Click the Presets tab.
- Click the 'Upload Preset' option.
- Click View a sample/CSV template here.
- Follow the instructions to create a copy of the template in Google Sheets (or download to Excel).
- Select File -> Download -> Comma Separated Values (.csv). The sheet will be exported as a CSV file into your Downloads folder.
- After you create the preset file, go back to the Table & Presets > Preset tab.
- Click Upload Preset.
- Enter a name and description for the preset.
- Click BROWSE to select the CSV file from your computer.
- Click Add.
How to create a table preset during a live class
If the learners are in a table arrangement that you'd like to use in a future session
- Go to the Tables view.
- Click Seating Arrangement.
- Select Save Session Preset.
- Enter the name of the preset, and then click Confirm.
- Go back to the Seating Arrangement drop-down menu, find Apply Preset, and then select the name of the preset you just created.
Note: You can preview table presets in list or table view on the 'Presets' tab by clicking on the preset to review and make any changes before using the preset in a class session.
