🛠 Enhancements
- Microphone selection now starts from the currently active microphone instead of the default.
-
API v2 Performance: Improved speed for API v2.
API v2 Event Stream Restriction: Fetching data is now limited to a maximum of 1 hour per request.
🐞 Resolved Issues
- Resolved the issue where Super Admins in multistack saw duplicate user names.
- Resolved the issue where TAs couldn’t block engagement tools.
- Resolved an intermittent issue where live engagement analytics were generated for only one active session. Analytics from that session did not appear in the Admin Portal or API. Other sessions were unaffected.
- Resolved the issue where drilling down into analytics in the Admin Portal would sometimes not return data.
- Saved quick polls now appear correctly in multistack.
- Addressed intermittent issues when copying slides with QR codes in the Admin Portal.
- Removed the "Modules" button from the Playback Room UI since modules have been deprecated.
- Resolved a performance issue with API v2 classes endpoint in large deployments.
- Ensured the browser properly acquires the user’s camera before joining the classroom, preventing "camera unreachable" errors.
- Multistack User List: Eliminated repeated users appearing in the user list.
- Resolved an issue where names of departed learners briefly appeared in the recorded gallery.
- Addressed delays in stopping audio from participants not at your table after switching to table mode, along with other audio glitches related to promotion/demotion.
⚠️ Known Limitations
Live Classroom
- Learner responses to regular polls may not always be counted, causing the "# answered" count to vary across users.
- A user moved from the panel is no longer visible on the panel but can still be heard.
- If a learner changes their answer to a poll too quickly, the instructor may not see their final response.
- When an instructor decreases the max seats per table (e.g., from 10 to 1) and then increases it again (e.g., from 1 back to 10), the system may still treat the limit as 1 seat per table—even though it visually appears to be 10. This prevents instructors from dragging learners to available tables, but learners can still join those tables on their own.
Playback Room
- Transcripts occasionally truncate or omit words or letters during recording playback.
- Captions and transcripts can fall out of sync, with captions sometimes lagging behind.
- In playback rooms with two or more participants, a new host's mic may remain blocked after host transfer.
- Editing long recordings can occasionally fail during processing.
Hybrid
- A bug may incorrectly allow splitting hybrid group members across different tables. Avoid doing this.
- Hybrid users may lose their "hybrid ON" state after leaving and rejoining a class. After rejoining, these users should re-enable hybrid mode and rejoin the original hybrid group.
- When a new hybrid learner joins an existing group, they may incorrectly see a "main mic/speaker" message, even if they aren't the active mic/speaker.
