Engageli Studio is an AI-powered tool designed to transform pre-recorded video content into interactive learning experiences. It uses AI to analyze and auto-chunk videos into logical segments, and automatically adds interactivity and engagement features like polls, quizzes, interactive practice to content called Modules, which are used to guide learners.
How to Access Engageli Studio as an Instructor
As an Instructor you can add Engageli Studio modules to any new or previously created classroom. Studio Modules are created and managed in the Engageli Class Portal.

- From the Admin Portal, create a new class or select the class you would like to use for Studio, and then select the 'Open Class Portal' button in the top right once the class is created.
- From the lobby of your class, you can use the 'Manage Class' button to be taken directly to the Class Portal.
- Log directly in to the Class Portal from https:<partnername>.engageli.com/<partnername>/current/rooms (replacing <partnername> with your organizations instance name) and select the class you want to use for studio from the classes where you are an administrator.
How to add Content to use in Engageli Studio
All Engageli Studio modules must use a video file as the base but also support adding additional file types over the base video. For example, an instructor has uploaded a 30 minute video on "How to use Engageli" and then embeds a PDF at the 10 minute mark to be reviewed, then they add a multiple choice poll at the 15 minute mark based on the PDF file. Users can upload multiple different media types or even create document/whiteboard templates to use in Engageli studio.
- Log in to the class portal.
- From the left menu, select 'Content' from the 'Management' section.
- From the top right, select the '+' and choose the type of content or template to add.
- Follow the on screen instructions to upload your file.
- You can now view and edit all uploaded files from the content page.Info: If you're uploading a video file, be sure to check the 'Prepare for studio' button on the file selection page if you plan to use it for a module base file to save yourself time.
How to Create a Module
Once you've uploaded content to Engageli Studio, you can create a Module, which serves as a structured container for your content and activities. Modules let you organize materials in a linear sequence to guide learners through the content step by step.
- Log in to the class portal.
- From the left menu, select 'Modules' under the 'Engageli Studio' section.
- Click the '+' in the top right corner to create a new module. You will now see the new module interface.
- Add a base file to the Module by selecting 'Add Base File' on the right side
- You will see 3 options for adding a base file
- Upload: This allows you to select a base file locally from your system to use in the module.
- Add from Content: This allows you to use a file that we uploaded to the class content in the last section.
- Import Module: This allows you to import an existing module created in another classroom.
- Once you have selected your base file, select 'Upload' from the on screen prompt to start processing the file for use in studio. This may take some time depending on the size of the file. You will be notified by email when the processing is complete.
- Once the upload is complete, you will be presented with 2 options to continue with the module:
- Start Review: This option allows you to view all of the activities created automatically like polls or documents and make manual changes.
- Approve all: This option approves the module and saves it as it was created automatically by the studio AI.
- From here, you can now preview the module as a learner, or go straight to publishing the module by clicking 'Publish'.
