This article will cover the "Video Clip" option that appears when adding an activity to a module.
Use this option to insert a video clip activity designed to supplement the primary content. It's ideal for adding coverage of topics that may be missing or not fully explored in the base video. When selecting this activity, you have the option of uploading a new video file or choosing one from the Content area of this classroom or another classroom. Despite the name, you're not limited to short clips; videos of any length are supported. Once a video is selected, a preview window will appear, as sampled below:
The window contains a few elements:
- Name - The name of the video, which will also be used as the activity name. You may change this as needed.
- Video Preview - Most of the window is occupied by a basic video player, where you can preview your clip. The module builder does not currently support video editing of clips. If any adjustments are needed, be sure to make them before uploading your clip to the platform.
- Add to Module - Click this button to add the video clip activity to the module.
