The "Table Whiteboard" view can be accessed through the Views Tabs section. When selected, it displays the whiteboard activity happening at the table where you are seated. This tab will only be visible if the Instructor has started a table-specific whiteboard session. A visual example of the Table Whiteboard view is shown below:
As the name suggests, this view allows you to see and interact with the table's whiteboard, where participants can draw and contribute to a shared canvas with their tablemates.
Functionally, it mirrors the Class Whiteboard view, with the key difference being that each table has its own dedicated canvas rather than a single canvas shared across the entire class.
To learn more about the the tools and controls seen within the main panel when viewing the Table Whiteboard, please see the article for the Live Classroom > Views Tabs > Class Whiteboard, as they are identical.
Because the whiteboard is table-specific, we've provided some notes below that participants should be aware of:
- Instructors cannot view Table Whiteboards directly from the podium because these are table-specific activities. To view a particular table's whiteboard, an Instructor must either join that table or use the peek feature.
- A common practice is for one person from each table to present their group's work at the podium. Because only table members can see their own whiteboard, the usual solution is for the user to start a Class Screenshare and select the Engageli browser tab. This allows the entire class to view the content drawn on their table's whiteboard.
