Launching Your Browser-Based Classroom
1. Sign in. If you are using Engageli for the first time, you’ll also need to register your account.
2. After logging in, you can either create a new classroom or choose an already existing classroom. If you need to create a new classroom, type the class name and click Create. If you are ready to start an already-existing class, find the classroom and click Go.
3. If you need to do any pre-class setup (documents, videos, table arrangements), click the menu (three dots) and choose Edit. This will take you to the Engageli Portal where you can do all pre-class setup and view class data.
4. The Classroom log-in page should open automatically. Select the appropriate devices to use for the Camera, Microphone, and Speaker.
5. Choose Role (Instructor).
6. Click Enter Classroom.
Launching Your Application-Based Classroom
1. Sign in. If you are using Engageli for the first time, you’ll also need to register your account.
2. After logging in, you can either create a new classroom or choose an already existing classroom. If you need to create a new classroom, type the class name and click Create.
3. Once the classroom is created, navigate to the Engageli portal by clicking the menu (three dots) then Edit.
4. If this is your first time on Engageli, download the application by clicking Download under ‘Launch the instructor application’.
5. Once the application is downloaded to your computer, click Launch under ‘Launch the instructor application’.
6. The application should automatically open on your computer. Confirm that the correct classroom is chosen from the dropdown.
7. Select the appropriate devices to use for Camera, Microphone, and Speaker settings.
8. Click Start & Unlock Class. This will open the three instructor control panels.
9. For future sessions, you can log in by simply opening the application on your computer and logging in. You will see all of your classes in the dropdown menu.
10. If you need to access the Portal to do prep work or make edits, simply click Manage Class.
