This article introduces the "Note Annotation" view, accessible via the Views Tabs section. This tab is different compared to the typical Views Tabs in that it isn't a classroom activity, but a temporary tab that becomes available to you when you opt to annotate an image-based note entry.
Below is a visual example of the Note Annotation view:
As you can see, the majority of the main panel is occupied by the image that you chose to annotate.
At the top of the screen are 2 buttons:
- Save & Close - Click this to save your annotations and close the tab.
- Stop Annotate - Click this to close the tab and discard any changes.
To the left of the screen will be an annotation toolbar, which you can use to markup the image. We'll describe each of the tools below:
- Select Object - Selecting this tool will allow you to select annotations on the canvas and interact with them, such as moving, resizing, and deleting them.
- Add Shape - Selecting this will expand a menu, offering several shapes you can select to be added to the canvas.
- Drawing - Select this to expand a menu, offering either a Brush or Pencil option for freehand drawing on the canvas.
