This article provides an overview of the Playback Room's "File Share" view, which you can access through the Views Tabs section. When you select this tab, the corresponding File Share will open in the Main Panel. Below is an example of how the File Share view appears:
The "File Share" tab will load the corresponding PDF/PPTX that is available for viewing into the Main Panel. The majority of the panel will be occupied by the document itself. You will notice some controls that can be used to help navigate the document, which we'll describe below:
- Page Preview - On the left side of the page is the Page Preview Pane. This contains a list of thumbnails of every page of the document. You can use this feature to easily navigate forward or backward, or to jump directly to a specific section of the document.
- Toolbar - Located near the bottom of the page, the toolbar provides access to a set of helpful controls. We'll describe each feature of the toolbar:
- Page Number - The current slide's page number is displayed on the left side of the toolbar. If you are the host of the Playback Room instance or are the participant who initiated the File Share, then left and right navigation arrows are also available, allowing you to flip back or forward one page at a time.
- Zoom In / Zoom Out - These two buttons are straight-forward--click them to zoom in or out of the document.
- Stop - You can click this to close the File Share. If this document is a standalone Learning Path item, it will have the effect of closing that item. This button is only available to the Playback Room host and, if applicable, the user who initiated the File Share.
