This article explains the "Leave" button, located on the right side of the Playback Room's Bottom Panel. The screenshot below highlights where this button appears:
As expected, selecting this button allows you to exit the Playback Room. However, if you are the host, there are a few important details to keep in mind--especially if you plan to invite others into your Playback Room instance.
When you click "Leave", a pop‑up will appear with up to two options::
- Leave the Playback Room - Removes you from the Playback Room and returns you to the lobby. This is optional; in many cases, simply closing your browser tab may be more convenient.
- End Playback room for All - Available only to the host. Choosing this ends the Playback Room session entirely, removing all participants and sending them back to the lobby.
Additional notes about leaving the Playback Room:
- A host must always be present in a Playback Room instance. If you are the host and you leave or become disconnected for several minutes, the session will automatically end and all participants will be returned to the lobby.
- If you need to leave but want the discussion to continue, assign another participant as the host before you exit. This prevents the session from ending automatically.
