Changing the Number of Seats at a Table

By default, an Engageli classroom opens with 10 seats at a table. As an instructor, you can easily change the number of seats at a table. 

From within the classroom

1. Open Settings at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select Class Configuration.
3. Scroll to the Tables section.
4. Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to adjust the maximum seats at each table. You can have up to 50 seats at a table. 
5. Click Save. Changes apply immediately.

From the Admin Portal

1. Go to the portal, select Details, and then click the Live configuration tab.
2. Select the number of seats for the tables, and then click the Save Changes button.
3. The next time you start your Engageli class, you will see your new classroom configuration.

Pro Tip! When deciding the number of seats, remember that if you have multiple TAs who will visit tables, an available empty seat will be needed. Instructors, co-instructors, and one TA can visit tables without needing an empty seat.
