This article will introduce the "Present" button, found near the center of the Playback Room's Bottom Panel. Playback Room participants can use this button to launch activities or other tools. Below is a screenshot highlighting the location of this button and the corresponding menu that appears upon selecting it:
Selecting any activity from the Present menu will create a corresponding View Tab for all participants in the Playback Room instance. We'll describe each of the options in the menu below:
- Share Screen - Select this option to share your screen with everyone in your Playback Room instance. Doing so adds a "Table Share" tab to the Views Tabs. For more information about the the prompt that appears, where you select the resource to share and whether to include audio, please visit the Live Classroom > Bottom Panel > Present > Share Screen article.
- File Share - Select this to share a PDF/PPTX file with everyone in your Playback Room instance. You'll be prompted to select a file to upload. Once the upload is complete and you proceed with the share, a new "File Share" tab will appear in the Views Tabs area. Please review the Playback Room > Views Tabs > File Share article to learn more about this tab.
- Playback Whiteboard - Select this option to start a whiteboard activity for your Playback Room instance. Doing so adds a "Playback Whiteboard" tab to the Views Tabs area. The whiteboard functions as a single shared canvas visible to all participants. Please review the Playback Room > Views Tabs > Playback Whiteboard article for more details about this tab.
When an activity begins, its associated icon in the Present menu will include a "Stop" button. Clicking this will immediately stop the activity.
