Overview
This article will discuss the Present menu's "Sprint" option, available to class Instructors from the Live Classroom. Below is a screenshot that highlights the location of this option within the Present menu:
Sprint is a competitive leaderboard activity where participants earn points for answering questions quickly and accurately. Selecting this button opens a pop-up window, as shown below:
From this window, you'll be presented with several options:
- Create with AI - Engageli’s AI engine will generate a set of questions based on the material shared and discussed during the current session. You’ll be able to review and edit the questions before launching the activity.
- Create with Prompt - This option lets you type a prompt to guide Engageli’s AI engine on the topic you want questions about. The questions can relate to the current session or cover an entirely different subject. You’ll have the chance to review and edit them before starting the activity.
- Create your Own - Choose this to manually build your own question set from scratch.
- Use Existing Question Set - At the bottom of the pop‑up, you'll find a list of all Sprint question sets previously created for the classroom. Selecting one loads it for review and optional edits before starting the activity. Note: Edits made here are not saved. To permanently modify a predefined question set, make changes in the Class Portal.
Below is a sample screenshot of the Sprint creation/edit screen, which is nearly identical to the Sprint template creation screen found in the Class Portal > Content tab.
When you are ready to start the activity, simply click the "Start Sprint" button at the bottom of the pop-up.
Starting a Sprint activity will create a "Sprint" view tab for all participants.
