This guide walks through how to add an Engageli LTI link to a Schoology course. It illustrates a common setup used in many Schoology environments, but your organization's configuration may differ. If you have questions about your specific implementation, please reach out to your Schoology administrator.
- From the "Course Dashboard" page, select a course. Below is a screenshot of the Course Dashboard page:
- When the course loads, use the left-hand navigation bar to go to the course's "Materials" tab. From there, select the "Add Materials" dropdown near the top of the page. Below is an image highlighting the location of the "Add Materials" dropdown.
- From the dropdown, look for the "Engageli" tool and select it. The name it appears under will vary, depending on what your Schoology administrator used. Below is an example of how it might appear within the "Add Materials" dropdown.
- Upon selecting the tool, the deeplink selector screen will appear. Make your selections and click "Submit" once complete. Below is an example screenshot of the deeplink selector screen:
- After your submission is processed, you should see a new link appear in the course Materials area. Select its "Settings" icon, then select "Edit", as shown below:
- In the pop-up that appears, set "Launch Options" to "Open in a new browser tab", as highlighted below. Engageli may not work properly if it is not opened in a new tab.
- If you wish to adjust the link's "Title" you may do so. Once ready, click "Save Changes" to apply the change.
- Your classroom link is now ready to use. Simply click it to be taken to the Engageli classroom. We've provided a brief animation below of how this should look:
