Advanced Notes for IT Personnel
Engageli uses WebRTC for real-time video and audio communication. This is a CPU-intensive process. With that in mind, we offer the following guidance:
- If you plan to make a bulk purchase of devices for use with our platform and already possess one for testing, you are welcome to reach out to support@engageli.com for assistance with evaluating its performance on our platform.
- CPUs optimized for high performance are best suited for our platform. While power-efficient processors are compatible, they are more prone to thermal throttling, which may result in occasional performance issues.
- The performance of a CPU on our platform cannot be accurately predicted beforehand, as it is largely influenced by the laptop chassis' cooling system and the other software running alongside our application. Consequently, the CPU specifications provided in our hardware requirements should be regarded as estimates.
