If you are attempting to access your Engageli classroom, but it won't load (i.e. getting a white screen or a blank page), then you will need to clear your browser's cache. This is an issue that can happen shortly after an Engageli system update.
This issue can also appear in other areas of the Engageli platform, such as the Admin Portal.
Below, we'll provide instructions on clearing your browser cache for Chrome. If you are using a Chromium-based alternative, the instructions should be similar:
- Select the 3 dots menu at the top-right of Chrome, then select "Settings". Below is a screenshot of the location of the 3 dots menu and the "Settings" option within it:
- Once the "Settings" window loads, navigate to the "Privacy and security" tab, then select "Delete browsing data", as shown below:
- A "Delete browsing data" dialog will appear, as shown below:
From here, ensure you have the following items selected:- Select "All time" to ensure you delete files for all of your browsing history, not just the recent ones.
- Mark the "Cookies and other site data" option.
- Mark the "Cached images and files" option.
- Select "Delete from this device".
- Restart Chrome, then try to load the page again.
Tip: To quickly get to the "Delete browsing data" dialog, you can copy and paste the following into your address bar:
chrome://settings/clearBrowserDataThis should work on all Chromium-based browsers.
