Introduction
This article will cover the "Class Portal". The Class Portal is where Instructors and Super Admins can go to manage the classroom. We've provided a screenshot below of how the Class Portal looks:
Note that the Class Portal is classroom-specific, meaning the details you see here will correspond to a single classroom. If you need to quickly navigate between multiple classrooms for management purposes, please consider using either the "Admin Portal" or "My Classes" page.
The "Class Portal" can be accessed from the classroom lobby via the "Manage Class" link that appears next to your webcam preview, as shown below:
It can also be accessed by clicking on an entry from your "My Classes" page.
Note: You'll need to be a Super Admin or be rostered as an Instructor for a class to be able to access its Class Portal page.
The Class Portal page contains 3 sections:
- The top tool bar, which contains a few controls that will persist, regardless of the which navigation tab you are viewing.
- The left-hand navigation bar, which allows you to tab through various areas of your classroom. Clicking these navigations link will change what appears in the main panel.
- The main panel, which displays content related to what you've selected from the left-hand navigation bar.
Below, we'll go through all these items.

- Engageli Guest Access Toggle - Toggling this switch will enable or disable the ability for users to access the classroom as guests. Caution: Disabling guest links for a classroom will immediately and permanently invalidate the guest links for this classroom. Re-enabling guest links will generate new ones--the prior ones will not be recoverable.
- Guest Access - This is a link that can be provided to guest Learners. These users will not need to authenticate into the platform. Clicking the "Copy" button next to this link will copy it to your clipboard.
