This article will discuss the details of the Bottom Panel of the Playback Room. This panel is located at the very bottom of the Playback Room and runs the width of the screen. We've provided an image below of this panel for reference:
The Bottom Panel is comprised of a number of icons and buttons. They're generally categorized into 2 groups: independent actions and right-panel toggles. Independent actions can be thought of as buttons that will activate a tool or feature. Right Panel toggles are buttons that can be clicked to load their corresponding content into the right-hand panel of the screen. Below is a screenshot highlighting the Right Panel of the screen:
The right panel can be closed either by clicking its "X" button or by selecting the corresponding button in the bottom panel. For instance, if the right panel is displaying the chat replay, clicking that button again will collapse it.
The items that appear in the bottom panel are the same for all participants who join the Playback Room, but will vary depending on whether you are alone in your Playback Room session or, if not alone, whether you are the host of the session. We will now cover every item that appears in the bottom panel in order of appearance:
- By Invitation - If you'd like to invite other participants to your Playback Room instance, click this to generate a guest link. To learn more about this feature, please visit the Playback Room > Bottom Panel > By Invitation article.
- Camera - The Camera button, located on the left side of the panel, lets you turn your webcam on or off. When your camera is on, other participants in the Playback Room can see your video; when it’s off, they'll see your avatar instead. If you're the only person in the Playback Room instance, your camera setting won't make much difference.
- Mic - The Mic button, located on the left side of the panel, can be clicked to toggle your microphone on/off. If you’re the only person in your Playback Room instance, your mic setting won't make much difference. There are several icons that can appear to reflect your microphone's status. Please review this article to understand the nuances between them.
- Settings - The Settings button, located on the left side of the panel, can be used to go into the settings area. This will allow you to access some of your personal settings. Please see the Playback Room > Bottom Panel > Settings article for more details
