This article explains the Views Tabs located just beneath the Podium. These slim, clickable tabs allow you to control the content displayed in your Main Panel. Much like browser tabs, they enable quick switching between different classroom views.
Note: Changing Views Tabs only updates your personal view--it does not trigger a change to the tabs that other participants are looking at. If you are an Instructor and need to get your classroom to focus on a specific tab, use the "Direct" tool found in the bottom panel.
Below is a screenshot highlighting the Views Tabs and the corresponding Main Panel:

Below are some important notes about views tabs:
- Certain tabs may come and go, depending on what is going on in class. For example: the "File Share" tab only appears if the Instructor has initiated the File Share activity. Likewise, if the current File Share activity is stopped, the corresponding "File Share" tab will disappear.

You may often see a gold highlight on a tab. This highlight signals the tab your Instructor wants you to focus on. Although you can still explore other views, the tab marked in gold reflects the content tied to the current class discussion. Below is a sample screenshot showing the highlight on the "File Share" tab.
